Foreign bodies impacted in the soft palate are very rare. When they occur, it is the infants and children that are affected most. It is very difficult to diagnose them unless a careful and good history is taken. Most of them are diagnosed on the operating table when posted for examination under anaesthesia. Here, we present a case of long standing foreign body of soft palate of nearly one month duration. A brief literature review is also presented.
