Fourteen cadavers dissected at our department of anatomy from November 2014 to February 2015 in one specimen we found a hypo plastic right posterior cerebral artery. As a normal variant it is also familiar to neurologists during interventional procedures along with cerebral angiography. Awareness of the normal variants in cerebral vascular anatomy is most useful in their practice. This hypo plastic variant carries an increased risk of posterior circulation stroke.
