Hypertension- “The silent killer” is the leading cause of mortality and disability adjusted life years (DALY). As there no symptoms during its most of the clinical course, diagnosis is difficult. There are various risk factors like smoking, overweight, alcohol consumption, salt intake, lack of exercise, stress which contributes to the progression of illness. That’s why to prevent hypertension or its complications we have to identify and prevent the risk factors. So we have conducted this study among the teachers.
